Peepski is a screenshot sharing service provided by Hyphero (“Hyphero,” “we,” or “us”). These terms apply to the Peepski desktop app, website, uploads, and image links. By using Peepski, you agree to them.
1. What Peepski does
Peepski lets you upload an image and share a link to it. Anyone who has a working image link may be able to view and redistribute the image. Do not use Peepski for screenshots containing passwords, access tokens, private messages, financial information, medical information, or other sensitive material unless you are comfortable with the consequences of sharing it.
You are responsible for checking a screenshot before uploading it, including anything visible in the background, notifications, browser tabs, or application windows.
2. App keys
An app key identifies your use of the service. Keep your key private and do not publish it or include it in software you distribute. You are responsible for activity using your key until you notify us that it may have been compromised. We may limit, rotate, or revoke a key to protect the service or address misuse.
3. Your images and permissions
You retain any rights you have in images you upload. You give us permission to store, process, reproduce, and deliver those images as needed to operate Peepski and display them through their links. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and share each image.
A screenshot can contain someone else’s copyrighted work or personal information. Taking a screenshot does not, by itself, give you permission to publish everything shown in it.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use Peepski to upload, link to, or distribute:
- Images that violate another person’s copyright, privacy, or other rights;
- Intimate images shared without the subject’s consent, or any sexual content involving minors;
- Threats, targeted harassment, or content intended to facilitate abuse;
- Malware, phishing material, fraudulent instructions, or deceptive links;
- Another person’s credentials, private identifying information, or confidential information without authorization; or
- Content or activity that violates applicable law.
Do not use automated requests, excessive uploads, key sharing, or other methods that disrupt the service, bypass its limits, or interfere with other users.
5. Removal and enforcement
We may remove or restrict access to images, limit uploads, suspend app keys, or stop providing service when we reasonably believe these terms have been violated or when necessary to protect people or the service. We may act without advance notice when prompt action is appropriate.
To report an image that violates these rules, contact ceo@corp.hyphero.com and include the image URL and a brief explanation. Copyright complaints should follow the instructions on our DMCA page.
6. Availability and image retention
Peepski may change, experience interruptions, or become unavailable. We do not promise that an image or link will remain available indefinitely. Images uploaded by gratis level accounts will be retained for 30 days. Images uploaded by premium level accounts will be retained for one year. Keep your own copy of any image you need to preserve.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy by Design - Hyphero Decentralized Communication explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how long we keep it. Because Peepski is for sharing images, you should treat uploaded screenshots and their links as shareable, even if a link is difficult to guess.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post the revised terms with a new effective date. We will send an email to users indicating updates.
